Equipment
Some people out there asked me: "Which camera do you use?" or "What's that big white thing in front of your camera?"
That's why I made a list of my Equipment
That's why I made a list of my Equipment
- Canon EOS 7D Mark II: This is my main camera and I use her for all kinds of photography (wildlife, nature, concert, people,...). The camera is very fast (10fps) and handles all types of weather like a tank.
- Canon EOS 700D: This is my second camera and I use her for my the behind the scenes videos and as a backup. It's a great camera to start out with and the price-performance-ratio is great.
- Canon 18-135mm: It's not the best lens but it's good as an allrounder, you can take wide-angle and also tele shots.
- Canon 17-40mm: This is my allrounder. I use it for portraits, landscapes but also for my cinematography work.
- Tokina 11-16mm: This is the lens I use for most of my landscape photos and also for my video work. It's an awesome wide-angle lens and the price-performance-ratio is awesome.
- Canon 100-400mm: This is my wildlife lens. I use it for 90% of my wildlife images. I like to say: "It's old but gold!". I would love to upgrade to a 500mm or something but the big lenses are just way to expensive.
- Tamron 70-200mm: This is a perfect lens for bigger animals and for people and concert photography. It's way cheaper than the Canon or Nikon version and the aperture of f/2.8 is nice to shoot in low light situations,
- Canon Speedlite 430EX II: This is my flash and I only use it for people photography. It's a very nice flash but it's also a little bit expensive.
- Macro Filter: I attach them to my Canon 18-135mm. This is how I get most of my macro pics. The quality of the pics isn't that great but I have to use them until I can purchase a macro lens.
- ND Filter: I use them to shoot videos and landscapes. I use different kinds of filters and I also use different brands. They are very nice for long time exposures but also to take videos in the harsh day light.
- Giottos Silk Road YTL 9254 + MH 5011N Head/ Cullman 40180 Ball Head: A light weight and heavy duty tripod is very important. When I'm shooting landscapes I use the Giottos Head and when I'm shooting wildlife I use the ball head. That's the perfect combination for me.
- GoPro Hero 4 Silver: This little action camera is used for the behind the scenes videos and I also use it for some actions shoots or drone stuff. It's an awesome camera and it's just handy. It fits in every bag and I can take it with me all the time.
- LowePro Pro Runner 450 AW II: My backpack. I can fit everything into this backpack and it's very comfortable. When you are hiking out several hours you need a good and comfortable backpack. I personally think that you can't find the perfect bag for all situations but this one is a great all-rounder.
- iMac 27": This is the pc I use to edit all my pics and videos on and do all the other stuff. (social media, website,...) It's very expensive but I just love the performance, the operating system and also the design
- ADATA HD710: This is my external harddrive. I use it for all the backups. It's very important to backup your pc on different hard drives and don't store the harddisks at the same place.
